Pipe Organ thing
A scratch built model of a floating/skimming pipe organ. Made from numerous bits I had given to me from a disgruntled Dark Eldar player. I have not come up with any rules for this monstrosity, but if I did use it in battle, it would be used to draw fire more than anything else.

I am also trying to come up with a name for it at the moment.

Years Worth of Work (off and on)
Most of the structural details are from sprues or from plastruct materials. The spotlights are from a mold that I made. The tubes on the bottom of the model are plastic drinking straws and pill bottles. The pipe organ is made from foam and siringe tubes and some heavy wire. Many small bits came from a car model (Night Rider). The oragnist is a heavily modified sorceror and space marine. The hardest part was getting his hands in the right pose.
Dawn Assault?
The model has five small green lights in the base of the DE engines (not lit in this view, too dark), and nine spot light on the top, along with one tiny light on the keyboard. The lights are wired into a switch box on the side that can turn off/on sets of lights. The electrical system works pretty well, but I have already overloaded the system once and had to replace all of the red LEDs!
Keyboard Close-up
I printed the keyboards out. I thought about using a pentatonic scale, but in the long run it was easier to use the regular layout for a keyboard.
Phantom?
Hands not perfectly placed but you can see some good detail in this shot...
The Player Turns
At first I designed the organist built into the model, but later I wanted to be able to remove him.
Upper Shot
There are nine loud speakers and (IIRC) nine box speakers on the top. Also three small ringing bells, all of the lights and their wiring, and two banners to tie the whole thing back into the army.
